The kids seem to love it...I think the homemade cookies help!!<br \/>\nOne of our toughest issues is picking a book that everyone will enjoy.  We resorted to putting titles in a bag, and choosing that way.  The titles were originally chosen from ALA Best Books for Young Adults and Teenreads.com. It is a fictional story about a teacher(Caelum) and a school nurse(Maureen) that are affected by the Columbine High School shootings.  <br \/>\nAlthough the topic is difficult, the story is engagaing because the story is about their marriage, both before and after the shooting.  <br \/>\nI am only about half way through, but the reviews indicate that while Maureen tries to recover emotionally, Cealum discovers some painful family secrets.  <br \/>\nWally Lamb manages to inject humor and humanity into this story.  I can't wait to continue reading it.  <br \/>\nHas anyone else read it?","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
